Getting Dressed in Xmas Clothes.
we headed out to take some pictures for xmas.
got everyone collected in the round pen, went to take a pic.....
and the camera battery was dead. :D :D
so, opened the gate and let everyone out, put battery on the charger, and built snowmen for the horses.
that was great fun in itself and will show pictures of that another day. :D
we then collected everyone up a second time and got started.....
one of our first challenges, and one that continued thruout the day was... brady wouldn't stay away from the camera man. :D
and now, onto getting the kids dressed.....
and then like all kids who are excited about xmas coming....
the bickering started!

the babies wandered back after giving up frisking the coat
pockets for cookies :)
and the dogs showed back up as well....
but poor little ember just couldn't seem to stay in the
spirit of things ....
and continued to try to divest herself of her

i added beauty to the mix and brady made sure to tell him

after we got the group shot, i decided i wanted some mounted
ones. :D
so i got on beauty (my levels horse), and linds got on
islands, i think this was maybe about her 6th time on him. :D
and speaking of which...
and,.... i know you've waited for it ...
except for these next 2... :D :D
don't they look so nicely posed?
what you don't see is behind the camera one of the mares is
flying around the barnyard bucking and kicking. :shock:
and i'm thinkin.... i sure hope islands doesn't decide to
join her.... :D
and luckily, he didn't. :D
i put beauty up and decided to use islands as the seasoned
role model :) and get on archie for the second time. :D
and that was the end of our xmas picture taking! :D
